Heineken operates across many market and industry sectors, from developing new beers to acquiring new brands and marketing them. The company manufactures its products in a variety of developed and emerging markets, including Vietnam, Mexico, and South Africa. Heineken's most popular brands include Heineken, Sol, Amstel Lager, Tiger, and Desperados. Heineken continued to expand its presence in Africa, through its acquisition of Distel Group Holdings and Namibia Breweries Limited in 2023. Both have been combined with Heineken South Africa and will be rebranded as Heineken Beverages.
