Segment ranking summary

Yili Groups sits towards the bottom of the ranking for both animal proteins producers and food and beverage processors. As a result, it also largely lags behind most of its peers in the dairy sector. This poor performance is mainly due to a lack of sustainability disclosure. However, even when the company discloses on relevant key topics such as in the environment and nutrition measurement area, its commitments and targets are often insufficient compared to its industry peers. The company sits in the bottom half in both dimensions, except for nutrition among animal protein producers where it stands in the middle of the ranking. Furthermore, the company is one of the few among its peers to perform worst in the governance and strategy measurement area.
