Formerly Keurig Green Mountain, Keurig Dr Pepper is a producer and distributor of hot and cold beverages. The company operates a portfolio of over 125 owned, licensed and partner brands, including Dr Pepper, Canada Dry, Keurig and Krispy Kreme. It employs over 25,000 people across more than 120 offices, manufacturing plants, warehouses and distribution centres. The company was formed in 2018 following the merger of Keurig Green Mountain and Dr Pepper Snapple Group.
Keurig Dr Pepper ranks 26th in the food and beverage manufacturers and processors segment, particularly outperforming many of its beverage peers within the segment. The company performs relatively well in both the environment and nutrition measurement areas, notably on topics such as plastic use and packaging waste, as well as food safety. The company has also set commitments when it comes to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions, however it only aligns with a well-below-2-degree trajectory and ranks in the bottom half of its segment. In the social inclusion measurement area, the company outshines its segment peers by showing leading practices in supporting farmers’ productivity and resilience and in respecting land rights. However, its commitments in other human rights related topics lack strength.
