Itoham Yonekyu Holdings is Japanese company engaged in the manufacture and sale of processed meat products, primarily ham and sausage. The company was born in 2016 by the merger of Itoham Foods and Yonekyu Corporation, at the time two of the top ten largest meat packing firms in Japan, and now operates 17 production plants nationwide. The group also has an operational and sales presence in New Zealand thanks to subsidiary Anzco Foods.
Itoham Yoneku ranks 206th in the food and beverage manufacturers and processors segment and 80th in the animal protein segment. The company is at the bottom of both rankings due to its very limited disclosures on sustainability topics.
