DSM ranks joint 6th in governance and strategy, with detailed reporting on how it links business activities to its sustainability strategy. Similarly, while DSM has addressed most issues in environment, where it ranks in the top grouping against its peers, DSM could increase its disclosure on topics such as soil health or plastic use to improve further. In social inclusion, increased reporting on its monitoring systems for key topics, including child and forced labour, would also see the company improve its ranking.
