Segment ranking summary

The company ranks 76th in the agricultural products and commodities segment. The company lags behind its peers in the this segment, particularly in the nutrition measurement area. It has a long way to go to ensure the availability and access to nutritious and fortified sugar options. There is also opportunity for the company to protect the rights of its workers by setting strong commitments around child and forced labour, health and safety and farmer livelihoods. While many of its peers have set time-bound targets to reduce its scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, Cosan’s Raizen has only started this journey.
