Segment ranking summary

CF Industries ranks 20th in the agricultural inputs segment, putting it in the middle of the ranking. The company has opportunities to improve disclosure and performance across all measurement areas compared to its segment peers. While it discloses an accountability mechanism for its sustainability strategy in the governance and strategy measurement area, the company does not show a strong industry performance as it provides insufficient evidence of stakeholder engagement. Similarly, in environment, it stands in the middle of the ranking, as it lacks disclosure on both quantitative evidence and targets on key topics. Furthermore, the company fails to tackle most relevant issues in both the nutrition and social inclusion measurement areas. As a result, it lags behind most of its peers in these two areas.
