Auchan
Auchan is a retail group operating over 4,000 convenience stores, supermarkets, superstores and hypermarkets across 17 different countries. Founded in 1961 by Gerard Mulliez in Roubaix, northern France, Auchan remains family-owned to this day, albeit operating under several different identities, including Alcampo (Spain) and RT-Mart as a joint venture with Sun Art Retail Group (China). With over 350,000 employees, Auchan is one of the world's largest retail employers.
