Incorporated in 1993, NVIDIA became prominent in 1999 when it released its first consumer-level graphics processing unit (GPU), which advanced visual rendering and performance capabilities of computing devices. The company’s key markets include gaming, professional grade visualisation, data centres and automotive. NVIDIA has a fabless manufacturing strategy, using external suppliers for all phases of the process. Although its headquarters are in the Unites States, it derived 92% of revenue from overseas customers in FY2019.
