Xiaoying joins WBA as a Research Analyst in the Social Transformation Team. Prior to joining WBA, Xiaoying worked as a Research Assistant at the Business and Human Rights Resource Centre, where she tracked human rights and environmental rights-related allegations against companies headquartered in the Greater China region. Before that, she worked at The Centre for Child Rights and Business, where she led human rights and child rights impact assessments in apparel, electronics, and agricultural supply chains across China, Southeast Asia, and Türkiye, collaborating with various stakeholders to assess risks and improve corporate practices. 

With a background in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, Xiaoying has developed strong analytical skills during her studies at the Graduate Institute Geneva (IHEID) and New York University Shanghai. Her broad research interests span a range of social development topics, and she is committed to using data-driven insights to drive meaningful change.
