Ting-Shao joined the World Benchmarking Alliance as a research analyst in 2022, focusing on the just transition indicators of the Climate Benchmark. He is deeply passionate about global social and environmental issues, particularly the future of work and human rights. Ting-Shao strongly believes in the importance of data-driven benchmarks and multi-stakeholder actions to drive sustainable development.

Prior to joining the WBA, Ting-Shao worked as a sustainability researcher at KPMG, where he supported business clients on Environment, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) projects to improve their sustainability ratings. He also gained valuable experience through internships at the World Economic Forum (WEF), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF). In these positions, Ting-Shao actively engaged with multiple stakeholders and contributed to sustainability initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region.

Born and raised in Taiwan, Ting-Shao holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Public Policy and Mandarin-English Translation from National Taipei University, as well as a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute Geneva.
