Ryan Kaminski is the Global Public Policy Lead at WBA. He is responsible for the WBA’s engagement and advocacy at the United Nations and other international fora including the G7, G20, World Bank and IMF.
Previously, Ryan was the Human Rights Policy Advisor at the United Nations Foundation. There he led SDGs campaigns on gender-lens investing; the business case for Goal 16; as well as the sustainable development-human rights nexus. He also supported global corporate partnerships with the UN Free & Equal Campaign.
He has served as a consultant for the Council on Foreign Relations as well as Friends of the Global Fight Against AIDS, TB, and Malaria. He has also held positions with the Permanent Mission of Papua New Guinea to the UN, Amnesty International, and was a U.S. Fulbright Fellow in Hong Kong.
Ryan is a Council on Foreign Relations Term Member as well as Truman National Security Project Security Fellow. He is a recipient of the Columbia University Jal Pavry Award for Research in International Understanding and the Leo Nevas Human Rights Award.
Based in New York but truly a Chicagoan at heart, Ryan received his BA from the University of Chicago and MIA from Columbia University.
