Roselyn Kang’ara
Research Analyst

Roselyn joined the WBA in 2019 as a research analyst and is currently working on the Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment benchmark. Her prior work experience encompasses research in ESG and gender equality as well as capacity building for minority women in pastoralist communities in Kenya. Roselyn has a great interest in human rights and is particularly passionate about gender issues and the empowerment of women in both the formal and informal sectors; she has been pivotal in lending her voice to conversations about harmful cultural practices in Kenya and Namibia. Roselyn is a Chevening alumna with an MSc from the University of Edinburgh. Away from work, she is a travel and skydiving enthusiast who also enjoys literature.
