Laura Hurtado Verazain

Working at the Climate and Energy team at WBA, I have the opportunity to research about my favorite topic: the energy transition. More specifically, I’ll be focused on revising and updating the ACT methodologies used for our benchmarks.

Previously, I worked in a company providing electromechanical services for energy development projects in Bolivia, which meant spending quite a few time on the field. After my postgraduate studies on environmental sciences in Budapest, Manchester, and Lesvos, I’ve been working in energy research projects focused on buildings and urban areas, working with consortium partners across Europe.

Here is a quirky fact about me: I have tried almost all brunch places existing in Budapest, and plan to keep on!
