Katherin joined WBA in January 2021 to support the Social transformation team. Her main role is to coordinate the efficient implementation of the social transformation research agenda with internal and external stakeholders. She believes in the instrumental role played by the private sector to achieve systemic change and the importance of placing people at the core of this transformation process.
Before joining WBA, Katherin worked for ten years in international organisations such as the Round Table of Sustainable Palm Oil, The International Trade Initiative and the Inter-American Development Bank in the management of ESG projects, impact evaluation and stakeholder engagement worldwide. She holds a Masters in Environmental Sciences from UNESCO -IHE in The Netherlands, a Postgraduate program in Sustainable Energy Management and BA in Biology from the Pontifical Xaverian University, Colombia.
