Elsbeth works with our existing and potential new government donors to keep everyone informed and confident about the WBA’s work. She enjoys working with many different people, making sure they all feel heard and trying to get everybody on the same path.
Elsbeth joined WBA because she is committed to its aim to achieve truly socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable economies and societies through systems change. She believes the WBA benchmarks can be a leading voice on how to achieve this, both for business and its stakeholders.
Prior to working for the WBA she worked for the Dutch government for over a decade in different roles concerning CSR, food security and sustainable development. She has a masters in political science, with a specialisation in global poverty and bachelors in communication science, in which she mainly focused on political communication.
