National Grid
National Grid, based in London, United Kingdom, is one of the world's largest publicly listed electric utilities, delivering energy to over 28 million customers in the UK and US. The company owns the high-voltage electricity transmission network in England and Wales, and owns and operates electricity distribution networks in upstate New York and Massachusetts. National Grid was re-listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1995, following re-privatisation of the UK energy grid in 1990.
