Established in 1912, Holcim is a publicly listed, multinational corporation headquartered in Zug, Switzerland. The company merged with the French cement major Lafarge in 2014 but retained the Holcim brand. It stands among the foremost producers of building materials and aggregates and operates across four business segments: cement, aggregates, ready-mix concrete, cement, and solutions and products. Its solutions and products segment includes the Holcim Building Envelope and Specialty Building Solutions. Holcim has approximately 70,000 employees across 70 countries and its revenue in 2022 amounted to USD 30.57 billion.
