Firmenich

Founded in 1895 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, Firmenich is one of the world’s largest privately owned fragrance and flavour companies. It is present across more than 100 markets and operates 82 facilities around the world, including 33 manufacturing plants and five research and development centres. Firmenich continues to grow, with four acquisitions, one strategic partnership and new facilities in ten global locations announced in 2019. Firmenich and DSM announced their merger on May 31, 2022. The merger was completed and the new company, DSM-Firmenich, began operating on May 9, 2023.
