X5 Retail Group is among the largest food retail operators in Russia, with over 16,000 stores in seven federal districts. The company operates across three retail divisions: Pyaterochka proximity stores for daily shopping; Perekrestok fresh product supermarkets; and Karusel food and household goods stores. As of 2019, the company worked with over 5,900 suppliers to meet its consumer demand. Products are then processed in the company's 42 distribution centres and distributed to its stores and supermarkets. X5 Retail Group's other business lines include online supermarkets and delivery services for non-food e-commerce retailers.
