Segment ranking summary

RCL Foods ranks 45th among animal protein companies, 84th in agricultural products and commodities and 141st among food and beverage manufacturers/processors. The company ranks in the lower grouping across all segments, due to limited disclosure across all measurement areas. Notably, in social, the company scores poorly against its peers due to little-to-no disclosure across all topics, presenting a risk for the company going forward. Similarly, in nutrition and environment, while the company reports on some issues, the company’s disclosure is currently lagging against its peers who have already started addressing key issues such as sustainable sourcing practices or promoting healthy foods. Nonetheless, the company’s performance in governance and strategy suggests the company is in a position to translate its overall sustainability strategy into practice across the other measurement areas going forward.
