Segment ranking summary

Mondelez International ranks 10th in the agricultural products and commodity segments and 27th among food and beverage processors. The positions reflect the company’s performance as being in the upper grouping of companies, however it is not quite a leader yet. In social inclusion, the company ranks in the top 25 in both segments, with leading practices towards supporting farmer’ resilience. Similarly, the company ranks well in environment, sitting in the top 10 among agricultural products and commodity companies, with some disclosure across most topics. However, it could improve further against its peers in food processors, where it ranks in the top 40, by disclosing more time bound targets across issues it has already started addressing. Furthermore, there are opportunities for Mondelez International to improve against its peers in governance and strategy, where it could provide disclosure on its stakeholder engagement activities, an area higher ranking peers are already reporting on.
