Marfrig

Marfrig Global Foods (Marfrig) is primarily engaged in the processing and distribution of meat, with 21 primary processing units, 12 further processing units and ten distribution centres and commercial offices spread across Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and the United States. It is one of the world leaders in the production of hamburgers, with a processing capacity of 232,000 tons per year. Its products, sold to large restaurant and supermarket chains, reach the tables of millions of consumers in nearly 100 countries every day. In 2018, Marfrig acquired a majority stake in National Beef Packing Company, one of the largest livestock companies in the United States.
