Segment ranking(s) summary

Active in the food and beverage manufacturers/processors segment, Grupo Nutresa performs better than the majority of its peers. Ranking among the top 25 in nutrition, the company demonstrates to have commitments and disclosure in place for all the topics assessed. However, it has an opportunity to align with its peers in the leading positions by increasing disclosure around key topics such as availability and accessibility and affordability of healthy foods. While the company shows strengths in its commitment towards sustainable packaging, it lags behind its peers in terms of reporting on its efforts to achieve deforestation and conversion-free (DCF) supply chains. Grupo Nutresa performs averagely in social inclusion, mostly due to its supporting activities towards farmers. Nevertheless, it has room to improve by formulating commitments to protect labour rights. As for governance and strategy, the company performs better than the majority of the food and beverage processors.
