CNH Industrial (CNH) designs and produces agricultural equipment and construction equipment (Case and New Holland brand families), trucks, buses and special vehicles (Iveco). It was established through the 1999 merger of two companies founded in the United States, Case and New Holland. In 2013, Fiat Industrial, the non-automotive part of the Italian manufacturer, merged with CNH to form CNH Industrial.
CNH operates in the agricultural inputs segment, where it ranks ninth out of 54. CNH performs well in the governance and strategy and the environment measurement area, ranking fourth and sixth, respectively. Similarly, the company does comparatively well on social inclusion, ranking ninth, although there remains considerable room for improvement here. Compared to its agricultural inputs segment peers, CNH lags behind on the nutrition measurement area, where it ranks 16th. However, the company does well in this measurement area compared to other agricultural machinery companies, thanks to its commitments to improve food security.
